With Huntingdon winning the first set comfortably 6 - 1, Stamford clawed their way back into the tie winning the second set 6 - 3. They relieved the pressure by winning the first set against Pippa Bourne and Lottie Buttler 6 - 3 to seal the win for Huntingdon. Stamford ladies won the second set 6 - 4 to end an extremely tight encounter between two closely matched teams.

Developments at City of Peterborough Tennis Club and Car Parking Regulations

The developments at City of Peterborough Tennis Club are now complete with their 3 outdoor tarmacadam tennis courts relaid and painted. Their new indoor courts are now in play and one of the first events staged indoors was the Hunts & Peterborough Don Brace Cup Final in October 2016.

Further details: www.cityofpeterboroughtennisclub.co.uk

Important car parking regulations at the club
The club has a large car park, which is free to members, visiting teams and members of the public with court bookings.
Due to the Club's proximity to the local hospital and the resultant demand for local car parking, the Car Park is monitored by an Automated Automatic Number Plate Recognition System. (ANPR). This applies to everyone visiting or using the Sports Club. People with Parking Permits are free to do so, visitors will need to enter their Car Registration Number within 20 Mins of arriving at the Sports Club. Failure to do so will result in a Parking Charge Notice (PCN). The Sports Club does not except responsibility for any PCN's issued to people who fail to observe the car parking regulation.

2017 Annual General Meeting

The 2017 Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday 30th November at 8.00 p.m. at Huntingdon Tennis Club's clubhouse. Refreshments will be provided from 7.30 p.m.

Club contacts have been sent the paperwork for the meeting. Will clubs who have won their division this season please ensure that someone from the club attends the meeting to collect their trophy and certificate. A copy of the AGM paperwork in PDF format can be downloaded from the "Downloads" menu button above. Apologies, in the paperwork, there was an error on the Don Brace Cup result, the competition was won 5-3 by Huntingdon, not Stamford. This has now been corrected and the revised details will be available in the paperwork available at the AGM.
