Refreshments
The rule was changed in 2022 for refreshments and clubs are asked to liaise early about the arrangements for matches. If an away team is not intending staying for a team, it is expected that this intention is passed on to their hosts at least 7 days prior to the fixture. A reminder of the rule is below.

The home team shall provide refreshments for the visiting team members subject to the visiting team captain confirming before a match that their players will be staying after its conclusion when light refreshments should then provided in the form of sandwiches, biscuits and/or cake and preferably a hot beverage or cold drinks. If no contact is made beforehand by the visiting team captain then there should be no presumption that refreshments will be available.

Club of the Year
The criteria for determining this award was changed for the 2022 season and the feedback given by clubs at the end of season AGM, was very positive. Previously the award tended to go more to the club whose first teams were more successsful but the league are wishing to now use this award to recognise the on court achievements of the whole club rather than just the best teams.

The award is calculated from the success of all the teams representing a club and an overall average figure calculated. For example, a club might have their Ladies' A team that has won 5 out of a possible 6 points and their B team might have won 2 out of 4 points so combined they'll have won 7 out of a possible 10 points giving a success percentage of 70%. To qualify clubs must have at least one team represented in each league.

The table below will be regularly updated showing the overall success of each club throughout the season.
